Oppa Specialty Coffee and Breakfast is a bustling café tucked into the CC Nautical shopping center in Costa Teguise, offering a focused menu of quality coffee and hearty breakfast and brunch options. It draws in a crowd that leans toward locals and visitors who appreciate well-made, thoughtfully sourced food paired with expertly crafted coffee.

The café’s atmosphere is compact and lively, with limited seating that fills up quickly, especially during late mornings and weekends. This makes early arrival a smart move if you're aiming to grab a spot and settle in, though takeaway remains a convenient alternative for those on the go. A casual, somewhat cozy vibe prevails here, with an emphasis on quick, satisfying meals rather than lingering over multiple courses.

The coffee stands out as a key reason people return. Whether you go for a cappuccino, a café con leche with a twist of condensed milk, or a matcha latte — the latter often touted as one of the best on the island — each drink feels carefully prepared with attention to balance and flavor. There’s also an iced chai latte and inventive iced coffees that offer refreshing variety on warmer days.

Food-wise, Oppa offers a range of breakfast and brunch items that lean into fresh, home-cooked style fare. You’ll find everything from classic avocado toast with scrambled eggs to breakfast burritos and tacos, plus crowd-pleasers like tuna melts and club sandwiches. The menu accommodates vegans with options like the Veggi Egg Burrito, while artisanal cookies and chia cakes round out the offering for those looking for a sweet bite.

Locals seem to appreciate the café not just for fuel but as a place to catch up, work, or enjoy a relaxed start to the day. Despite its busy buzz, the staff is known to be friendly and informative — happy to explain ingredients or accommodate specific dietary preferences, which adds to the welcoming feel.

In short, Oppa Specialty Coffee and Breakfast serves best as a reliable spot for quality coffee and a substantial brunch in a compact yet vibrant setting. Ideal for morning visitors who can arrive a bit early, it works particularly well for those who enjoy a café experience that balances the social energy of a popular local spot with a genuine focus on good, straightforward food and drink.

Amazing coffee and brunch place. Wonderful well sourced ingredients with a home cooked style. Very very busy suggest arriving earlier than you'd like for the time you actually want to eat. Not much seating space but they do offer takeaway

One of the only 'trendy' places in Costa Teguise for coffee and brunch. It's normally pretty busy but as long as it's not a weekend there will usually be a table free. Recommend the cafe con leche y leche - iced coffee with condensed milk. Club sandwich also hits the spot.

The best Matcha Latte on the island in my opinion and great sourdough sandwiches. Suitable for vegans. Only downside is that it can get crowded and it is a small place, so prepare to wait for 10-30 minutes.

Oh what happiness to find a place like this! I had the October special brie and leek toasties... 100% guilty pleasure! The homemade lemonade was perfect too, not too sweet not too sour. My partner had the club sandwich.. Amazing too! Staff is helpful - I asked info about the brie and they informed me that all cheese they use is pasteurized. The terrace was full but we didn't have to wait, and the food came within 10min. Honestly a great experience, I would go back next time I go to Lanzarote! And I highly recommend to anyone who likes places that cook with detail and love

I found this place through Google Maps and wasn’t disappointed. It was busy but managed to get a table within a few minutes and you could see why it was busy. The food was spot on with really tasty coffee. The breakfast option I went far as you can see in the pictures Crispy bacon egg avocado and the little kick of Sriracha set me up for the morning. The bun was nice and soft, and complimented the filling. Head down to this place for something a bit different from your normal run of the mill English breakfast you will not be disappointed. Spotted this café on Google Maps and gave it a try and I’m glad I did. Quick to get a table and ordered bacon, egg, avocado, and a dash of Sriracha in a soft bun, all washed down with great coffee. A fresh, tasty alternative to the usual fry up.

Absolutely loved this café! Every morning of our trip began here with a delicious breakfast and a perfect cup of coffee. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff incredibly friendly, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. It became our little daily ritual, and we couldn’t imagine starting the day anywhere else. Highly recommended — a true gem!
